Notification regarding April May class

The university send a mail to all college principals about the summer class

The mail is

This semester classes will end on April 30. If subjects not completed then only you can take extra class

Based on the representations received from various organisations as to the conduct of academic activities in April-May 2017, a meeting was convened at KTU on 23.03.2017.
According to the academic calendar published by the University, the last working day is 12th of May, 2017. As per the discussions in the meeting held on 23.03.2017 the conduct of classes in April-May is difficult in certain places due to water shortage.
Considering the representations received, the classes can be completed on or after 30th April, 2017, if necessary, compensating the loss of instructional days by arranging extra classes.
Moreover, it has been decided to write to the Government and Director of Technical Education to sanction surrender of Earned Leave for vacation staff for the period they work.

B.Tech S2 Results PublishedIt is here by notified that the result of Second Semester B.Tech Degree examinations coducted during May/June 2016 is published.Candidates who desire to appear for S2 supplementary examinations are directed to register for the same in the KTU portal from 27.06.2016 to 28.06.2016 by paying the requisite fee in the College office.
Candidates who desire to register for re-valuation of answerscripts are directed to register for the the same in the KTU portal from 08.07.2016 to 15.07.2016 by paying the requisite fee in the College office. All answer scripts with marks scored between 30 and 45% are already revalued by the Chief Examiner.

Academic-B.Tech programme-Modified syllabus

Academic-B.Tech programme-Modified course planThe Curriculum Committee reviewed the syllabus and modified the course plan of S4 B.Tech programme by deleting and / or clarifying coverage of certain topics and submitted the modified course plan for 4 th semester B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering, CS 208 and CS 232; ME 202 of Mechanical Engineering; EC 202, EC 204, EC 206 and EC 208 of Electronics & Communication Engineering and CE 202, CE 204,CE 206 and CE 208 of B.Tech Civil Engineering.The modified course plan with reduced content will be effective from 04.03.2017.It may be noted that there are no changes in the Syllabus and Question paper pattern.
